Assignments are assigned everyday and students turn them in before they leave class. They are graded and handed back and they are allowed to correct any assignment below a 50 up to an 80 and above a 50 up to a 100. 

Corrections must be done on a separate piece of paper and stapled to the original assignment. 

If students lose a graded assignment then they can not redo it. 

I hand graded papers back once a week and update grades almost daily, so what you see on HAC is usually very up to date. 

Students have 2 weeks to turn in an assignment for full credit, after 2 weeks the highest grade they may earn is a 50 and no other copies will be given. 

They make take a retest on schoology to earn up to an 80 on a test, they will be given 2 weeks from their test date to finish the retest, emails will be sent home if your student needs to complete the retest. 

I offer tutoring every morning at 8 am except for Tuesday. If I need to cancel a time for meetings students will be notified. 

Students just show up to tutoring, they do not need to sign up. They also can work on corrections or missing work at home or in tutoring, they can work on a retest in tutoring or they can come in with a concept that they just need extra help with.  

The second tardy is a parent email home, third tardy is lunch detention and every tardy after that is a write up. 

I will send home biweekly failing notice emails with important information. 

Progress reports are every 3 weeks and get checked on HAC.
